E CAVE
With its incredibly beautiful turquoise water, E Cave holds many secrets yet to be revealed. In 2015, a caving expedition team of BCRA (British Cave Research Association) used specialized diving equipment to explore E Cave. However, only about 3 kilometers of the cave’s length have been explored and recorded to date, with the rest remaining an unsolved mystery.
Outside the cave entrance is a stunning open-air swimming pool, a biologically diverse habitat for numerous species of stream fish (Mat Fish), Wallago Attu fish, giant prawns, eels (Anguilla Marmorata), and more. You can see them here.
You can participate in outdoor activities at the cave entrance with over 8 activities including: swimming, SUP boarding, snorkeling, underwater volleyball, water guns, inflatable floats, giant duck check-in, darts, and beach volleyball.
Explore 1.2-1.5 kilometers of the E cave underground river by swimming, diving or SUP boarding. Although it doesn’t have many stalactites, you’ll still see flowing stalactites, curtain stalactites, and small stalagmites. Evidence of fractures during the Earth’s crust formation. Diverse many fossils of Rugose coral (Tetracorallia), Tabulate coral (Syringopora) on the walls and ceiling of the E cave.
